Hydroponics Gardening="Working Water" or "Soil Less" Gardening
Hydroponics systems grow plants without soil (soil less) in a controlled area. Free flowing water or a medium system (plant roots are wrapped in a medium such as rockwool, perlite or gravel) and are suspended in water.
Both of these methods provide nutrients in a solution that is fed to the plants. Temperature is controlled and natural and artificial light are used to assure photosynthesis (process of using energy in sunlight to convert water and carbon dioxide into carbohydrates and oxygen).
