Garden Tools--Shovels to Rototillers

Depending on where you garden, outdoors or indoors there are a few basic garden tools that you must have. For outdoors these garden tools are: spading fork, hoe, shovel, watering can, bow rake, and garden shears.

For indoors the primary garden tools are: spade, cultivator, trowel, snips, pruning tool, floral snips and mister. If you are just starting out, don't buy the most expensive set of tools. You may find that gardening is not what you want to do and there is no sense losing a large amount of money.

As you get more involved in gardening the list of tools most likely will increase. There are ergonomically designed hand tools and special cultivator tools to name a few. Then there is the whole area of mechanized tools including cultivators, tractors and carts.

The list goes on from there to very sophisticated tools such as tools for the disabled, greenhouses, hydroponics gardening and water gardening equipment.
